I am shocked and saddened to learn of Dorothy's passing. My heart is broken. We always referred to ourselves as sisters - separated at birth. Although I haven't seen Dorothy since she relocated to Florida we always stayed in touch. We never missed wishing each other a big Happy Birthday every year since we were only 10 days apart. She was truly a beautiful person in every way. My condolences to the family. She loved you all so much.
She will forever be in my heart. Rest in peace my good friend.

I just heard of Dorothy's passing this past week. Heartbreaking. I worked with Dorothy at NYL. She was a beautiful, kind, caring - and smart - woman. Truly a classy lady. She will be sorely missed. I always enjoyed her insights, her stories and her wit. I know how much she loved Jennifer and her grandsons. Please accept my sincere condolences.

I am just finding out this morning that Dorothy passed away. She was my hiring manager in NYC with New York Life. We started a few months apart. Dorothy had an amazing spirit and she was a fighter. I learned so much from her as a young manager and I still use what she taught me even today 20 years later. Lost contact with her the last four years and now I won't get the chance to to tell her how much I appreciate her, how much I miss her & how much I love her! Dorothy you will always be in my memories and your family will always be in my prayers!

Dorothy was like a second mom to me. I lost my mom when she was very young, and Dorothy always guided me in the right direction, and always reminded me that others are less fortunate than us. She was a mentor, a teacher, and true solid gold person. She embraced my family, held my premature newborn twins, visited our home. One of the best memories was when Dorothy and Jennifer came over to our house for dinner, and Sheila Sand and Mary Bender joined us. We had a huge pasta dinner, and a "Surprise" Dirt Cake for dessert. I wish I kept in touch over the past few years, but if Jennifer reads this, please feel free to contact me honey. I miss you too, and you have so many of your mother's strong qualities. And now, you have an angel above to watch over you and your children. My heart goes out to you all, and for me, most importantly, I am a better person today because of Dorothy. May the dear Lord watch over all of you. And I thank the Lord that I had my time in life that she was a part of. Rest in peace my dear, dear friend. Amen.

My thoughts and prayers go out to the family. God needed a beautiful flower for His garden, so he reached out and plucked the most beautiful one he could find, our sweet angel, Dorothy. May your loving memories sustain you during these most difficult times. Condolences to the family.

Rest in peace my friend 🙏
