                                                    Geraldine Georgina Fleury

Geraldine Georgina Fleury, 90, of Hernando Beach, Florida, passed away on Monday, March
20, 2017 at Consulate Health Care of Bayonet Point in Hudson, Florida. She was born June 3,
1926 in St Albans, Vermont to Lee and Bertha La Pierre Cyr. On October 13, 1959 she married Albert Fleury. They were happily married for 37 years until his death October 19, 1996. She is survived by three children; two sons, Lee Compagna and his wife Linda of Efland, North Carolina, Larry Fleury and his wife Pat of Springfield, Vermont, and a daughter, Mary Greenough of Hernando Beach, Florida. She is also survived by a sister Pauline Root of Duluth, Georgia, and two brothers; Norman Cyr and his wife Louise of Milton, Vermont and Wayne Cyr of Winooski, Vermont.

In addition, Geraldine leaves three grandchildren (Joe Compagna and Rob Compagna of
Massachusetts),(Colin Greenough of Spring Hill, Florida) and three great grandchildren (Drew Compagna of Massachusetts), (Pierce Greenough and Aidan Greenough of Florida); Nieces, (Pam Root of Duluth, Georgia), (Karen Cyr, Vicki Adams and Lisa Shangraw of Milton, Vermont), (Nancy Knight of York, Maine); Nephews; (Norman Cyr II of San Francisco, California), (Jean Paul Cyr and Matthew Cyr of Milton, Vermont) and (James Cyr of Atoka, Tennessee). She also leaves many other cherished relatives from her Vermont heritage.

Geraldine was predeceased by a brother, John Cyr and his wife Hedi, two nieces; Debra Root and Lucy Cyr.

A graveside service will take place at Good Shepherd Memorial Gardens in Ocala, Florida on
April 12, 2017 at 12:30pm. Downing Funeral Home of Spring Hill, Florida will be handling the
arrangements (downingfuneralhm@bellsouth.net).
