Jerry O. Eddy

age 75, passed away peacefully at home on July 23, 2016, following a long, hard-fought battle with multiple cancers.  He was under the loving care of his wife, his family, and HPH Hospice at his time of death.  Jerry was born and raised in Aurora, Illinois, and was a 1959 graduate of East High School.  He began his career at Burlington Northern Railroad that same year and worked his way up through a series of promotions to the position of National Marketing Executive, BN Intermodal.  He retired with more than 30 years’ service with BN.  An avid golfer, Jerry moved with his wife from the Pacific Northwest to the Florida Gulf Coast in 1996 so he could enjoy his love of golf year-round.  He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Camille, of Hudson, Florida; his daughter and son-in-law, Michelle and Phillip Villarreal, of Appleton, Wisconsin; his grandson, Michael Villarreal, also of Appleton; and two brothers, Jim Eddy of Puryear, Tennessee; and Jack Eddy of Elburn, Illinois.  He was predeceased by his parents, Orra Eddy and Christena Eddy White of Clearwater, Florida.   In lieu of flowers, please consider donations in Jerry’s honor to your favorite cancer charity and/or HPH Hospice.

The family will be holding a Memorial Gathering on August 20, 2016 at 11:00am at The HeritagePines Country Club, The PAC Room, Hudson, Florida
