Bill and I met many years ago when he first came to Florida. We were both in the service and that was the commonality that brought about our lasting friendship. We would ride down to McDill and raid the commissary and I was there throughout his various hospitalizations . He would stop by just to chat and discuss the hot topic of politics. He was a brilliant man, a dear friend and I will miss him.

Bill, we have had 50 years of separation since Vietnam. We linked up in Florida last year, which is my business location. Our friendship has endured a half century and God has taken you away too soon. Me and all your brothers in arms will be joining you in the not too distant future. Earth's loss is God's gain, may he keep you in his embrace for eternity. See you later, will offer prays, and until we meet again, I'm sure you will kick ass and keep the troops in line!!!
