Ethel Deborah DeValk

DeValk, Ethel “Eddy” age 95 of Spring Hill died Sat. July 1, 2017 at home. She & her husband of 58 years, Clarence, moved here from Chicago in 1978. She was a WWII WAC, past member of the SH Animal Advisery Board & R.S.V.P. She was a Hernando County Master Gardener, past president of the SH Garden Club, Life member Florida Fed. of Garden Clubs. She was predeceased by Clarence (2006) and 3 sisters. She is survived by brother Owen Hillier of Callahan, Fl, son Larry DeValk (Annette), daug. Debbie Heckman (Terry Sr), both of SH, Fl and son Lou Beaudoin (Beate) of Norway. 10 grand kids: Dana Beach, Marti (Rick) Rivera, Samantha Heckman, Victoria Darcangelo (Ben), Cedric DeValk (Melanie), Terry Heckman Jr, Travis Heckman, Daniel Heckman, Alex Beaudoin and Kathryn Beaudoin; 12 great-grand children and many loving nieces & nephews. Visitation will be Monday July 10 at 10:00 am at Downing Funeral Home in SH followed by interment at Fl National Cemetery at Bushnell, Fl. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Spring Hill Garden Club.
