Joseph O. Shaw

Reverend Joseph O. Shaw, Jr. 100, of Spring Hill, Florida passed away

on June 20, 2017.

Born February 16, 1917 Joseph grew up in Newark,  New Jersey and

graduated from Westside High School. He received his Bachelor's Degree from

Rutgers University and his Master's degree in Psychology from

New York University. Joseph earned his Bachelor's degree of Divinity from 

Rochester-Colgate School of Divinity and became ordained ministered at Frenchtown, NJ Baptist Church.

Joseph served as Pastor at Livionia, NY Congregational Church,

Stratford, CT Congregational Church and Morris, CT Congregational Church.

Retired to Spring Hill in 1990, he was a member of Spring Hill

Baptist Church and Spring Hill Bible Church.

Reverend Shaw was a member of the Morris, CT Fire

Company and served as an EMT.

 Survived by loving wife of 77 years, Mildred Shaw, his son Joe Shaw

and his wife Nancy; his granddaughters, Cara-Lin Shaw Graham

and her husband, John; Krista Shaw Komarek and Emily Biancamano

and her husband Mike. Great Grandchildren, Erin Graham, Kayleigh Graham,

Katie Komarek and Joseph Biancamano. He was preceded in death by his 

daughter, Carol.
