Kenelm Paul Kenyon, 79
of Spring Hill, FL passed away on May 7, 2018. He entered the house of the Lord to be reunited with his beloved wife of 40 years Judith A. (Cunningham) Kenyon. He was born December 22, 1938 in Mechanicville, New York to the late Kirtland and Ruth (VanWert) Kenyon. He attended Mechanicville High School where he played baseball and football and was active in the United Methodist Church. After graduation, he went on to the United States Merchant Marine Academy in New York. He was a veteran of the US Army serving from 1961 to 1963. The majority of his life was spent in Syracuse, NY where he and his wife successfully owned and operated Genesis II, a hair replacement studio. All his life he was a devoted SU Orangemen fan. He enjoyed gardening, listening to music and being with his beloved dog Coque. He and Judy spent many summers at their home in the Thousand Islands where they enjoyed riding in their boat and entertaining friends and family. He loved to watch and play golf, and was a devoted member of the Calvary Club where he traveled with his Vagabond golf group. He ultimately moved to Florida where he lived in Fiddlesticks Country Club (Fort Myers) before settling down in Timber Pines (Spring Hill). He is survived by his brother Douglas Kenyon of Elmhurst, Nevada his daughters Deanna Walker (Joe) , Dana Kenyon Neaton (Mark) , Dayle Claus, Kimberly Aloi and son, Thomas Aloi. He was a proud Grandfather to Jacob and Joshua Walker , Taylor and Michael Neaton and Andrew and Austin Claus. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 19th at 11 AM at the Downing Funeral Home, 214 Wendy Ct, Spring Hill, FL 34607.
