Patrick F. Dooley “Pat”, 88

of Spring Hill, Florida peacefully passed into eternal life on

Thursday October 11, 2018 at his home surrounded by his loving family. 

Pat was born October 10, 1930 in New York City, NY to William & Anne (McPartland) Dooley. He was a US Army veteran & proud retiree of the United States Postal Service where he was employed as a letter carrier. He also served as President of the National Association of Letter Carriers Union Branch 86, Hartford, CT.

In 1996 Pat relocated to Timber Pine Community in Spring Hill, FL, one of his dreams he always spoke often about. Pat enjoyed his retirement years on his boat fishing, playing billiards and shared a lot of good times with the many new friends he made within the community. Pat was a loving husband, father and friend and he will be dearly missed by all.

Pat is survived by his wife of 67 years, Joanne; Two Daughters, Margaret & Rose; Son, Michael and his wife, Lanie; Four grandchildren, Erica, Michael, Michelle & David, and two great grandchildren, Brenden & Sierra. Pat also leaves his brother Bill and sister Bette along with many nieces and nephews.

Please join his family at a celebration of Pat’s life on Monday October 22, 2018 at 10:30 am at St. Theresa Catholic Church, Spring Hill, FL with a military ceremony to follow at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, FL.
