Alan Thomas Klaud, a native of Chicago's southwest side passed away in Hudson, Florida at the age of 65. A generous and intelligent man, with a heart of gold, he would do anything in his power to help co-workers, neighbors, family. and animals if they were in need. As a young boy he was always interested in fishing. . He loved his favorite homemade chocolate chip cookies, sports teams Chicago Bears and Chicago White Sox. .When visiting Chicago, he would never forget to to make a special stop at White Castle Hamburgers and Home Run Inn Pizza Restaurant.,as they were his number one. He was an avid follower of TV shows and movies, old and the latest. A World War II fanatic, A news junkie, collector of kitchen knives related books, accessories and media, etc. "Big Al" moved to Florida after a 4-year stint in the US Navy. He enjoyed local festivals like Tampa Bay Hot Pepper Festival and Pierogifest in Whiting, Indiana. He is survived by his sister, Alexandra.
