Annabell H. Verity
1956 – 2026
Annabell “Anne” H. Verity, a woman who never met someone she couldn’t instantly become friends with, passed away peacefully on April 27, 2026, at her home in Spring Hill, Florida.
Born in Oceanside, New York, Anne grew up in “Beautiful” Baldwin helping out in her family’s business, the beloved daughter of the late George Sr. and Lillian Verity, and sister to George, Elwood, and Wayne. A trailblazer from a young age, she learned the value of hard work and entrepreneurship in the family’s Hastings Deli and later became a co-owner of Dawson Taxi at just 17 years old, collaborating with her older brothers. She carried the same spirit of tenacity and dedication she learned in the family businesses throughout her entire life.
Anne’s legacy is carried on by her four sons and their spouses: James (Jenni), Steven (Jenna), Sean (Jess), and Karter. She was the adored "Nannie" to nine grandchildren: Alex, David, Christopher, Steven Jr., Bridget, John, Colin, Adeline, and Xavier. Anne also leaves behind her beloved and devoted companion and friend of 33 years, Kathy.
Anne will be remembered as a woman of immense strength who lived entirely for those she loved. She is now reunited with her parents and brothers who went before her.
