Arthur A. Nenstiel

Arthur (Artie) Nenstiel, age 88, passed away peacefully on December 11, 2025, surrounded by his family and love. Arthur was a kind, modest, and simple man who lived his life with quiet strength, deep faith, and sincere appreciation for others. He was an avid reader who especially enjoyed adventure stories. He also had a love for his computer and spent countless hours creating cartoon graphics, a hobby that brought him both joy and creativity.

Arthur proudly served in the United States Air Force and carried that sense of duty, discipline, and perseverance throughout his life. His work following serving his country was with Pan American Airlines in NY, followed by the US Postal Service in FL. He was mechanically inclined and found joy in building, fixing, and creating things with his hands. He taught his two sons not only how to build and repair, but how to take pride in their work and do things the right way - and he shared that same lesson of pride and care with his daughter.  More than anything, he was always there—through the good times and the hard ones—steady, dependable, and supportive without question.

Even as he faced many health challenges over the years, he never gave up. His faith remained strong, and his determination to keep going was a quiet inspiration to those who knew him best.

Arthur was preceded in death by his  wife, Marie Nenstiel, with whom he shared many devoted years. Together they built a family rooted in love and loyalty.

He is survived by his three children:

Dean Nenstiel (wife Kathy),

Glenn Nenstiel  (partner Liz)

and Mariann DeWitt (husband John). 

Arthur was a loving “Poppy” to his grandchildren, Hannah, Spencer, and Riley, who brought him great pride and joy.

Arthur will be remembered as a devoted father, a loving grandfather, and a man who showed his love through presence, action, and unwavering support. He will forever remain in our hearts.
