Barbara S. Johnson

Barbara S Johnson 90 years old of Spring Hill Fl. and formerly of Old Lyme Ct passed away March 31st with her family by her side after a short illness. Born in New Britian Ct in 1935 she graduated from New Britain High School  in 1954 where she met her future husband of 41 years Raymond H Johnson. Everyone who knew Barbara knows of her love of life and her always outgoing personality and the joy she had with family parties and other get together.  Even later in life for the last four years where she lived in Timber Pines assisted living center, she enjoyed the company of all her new friends and took part in all daily activities. She is survived by her daughter, Laura A Rudd of Spring Hill Fl.;  her son, Kenneth Johnson of Cromwell Ct.;  two sister in-laws and many nieces and nephews.  She was predeceased by her father Harry J Grischuk her mother Mary A Grischuk her brother Robert P Grischuk and her husband Raymond H Johnson. In accordance their wishes, a private family service will be held. The family appreciates your thoughts and prayers during this time.
