Candacey L. Doris

Born October 1st 1988 to Colleen and Dave Doris. 

Sister of Dave Jr and Merlisa Doris and Douglas Doris. Aunt of Sarai, Mateus and Genevieve Doris.

Many aunts, uncles and cousins in NY, Indiana, Ohio, California, Georgia, Florida, New Jersey, Ontario, British Columbia, the UK, Jamaica and Guyana.

Candy was defined by her kindness, empathy and concern. She was a very caring and generous person who always spent time and money on our family,... every birthday, any celebratory occasion and every holiday.

She often went the extra mile to celebrate her friends also.

She had a wide appreciation for music from classical to Bollywood, blues and jazz.

Besides that she took the time to be an avid reader and scholar graduating from Springstead High with her high school diploma, Florida Gulf Coast College BA, in History and Psychology, and Masters in Psychology from Phoenix University. She was presently pursuing a Doctorall course in Psychology at Argosy University.

She worked many years as a Westat federal public health field researcher.

She is presently employed by HPone.

Besides education and work, she was involved in the contemporary religious and political debates and was a monthly financial supporter contributor to WEDU(USF public radio). Her other hobbies included traveling with her Gal pals and cooking. She loved cooking Indian curries, baking chocolate cakes. At Christmas she baked Guyanese Fruit cake and shared it by mail to her cousins and aunts in NY, and Canada.

She packed a lot into 24 hours every day.

As our only daughter and sister, she holds a special place in our affections and Memory.

We thank all our relatives, her friends and associates who contributed to her full life.

Though we are torn by this separation, we believe God is Good all the time …And everything has a time place and purpose.

We also believe all things ..even these hardships,..are working together, for our benefit.
