On August 7, 2025, the world lost a beautiful soul when Daina (Barney) Wyscaver passed away peacefully at her home in Spring Hill, Florida. She was 66 years old. Born on June 18, 1959, in Detroit, Michigan, Daina’s life was a testament to love, resilience, and the power of family.

Daina was the beloved daughter of Donald and Patricia Barney, whose love and guidance shaped her into the kind, compassionate woman so many came to admire. She grew up surrounded by the closeness of her siblings, a bond that would carry through her life and remain a source of comfort and joy.

In her journey through life, Daina shared many cherished years with her husband, Ronald Wyscaver. Their love was steady and true, a partnership that endured the highs and lows of life until Ronald’s passing. Though she carried the sorrow of loss, Daina also carried the strength to keep moving forward, supported by the love of her family.

She was the proud mother of Crissy; Ronny and his wife Vanessa; and Jaimi. Daina’s role as a mother was one, she embraced fully—nurturing, guiding, and cheering on her children through every milestone. Her heart expanded even more when she became a grandmother, finding immeasurable joy in the smiles and laughter of her grandchildren. She was also a devoted aunt to her many nieces and nephews, each of whom held a special place in her heart.

Daina’s life was built on simple but powerful values—kindness, loyalty, and generosity. She had a way of making people feel welcome, whether through a warm smile, a listening ear, or a thoughtful gesture. She was the person you could count on, the one who would stand by your without hesitation.

She is survived by her siblings: Patrick and his wife Keri Barney; Branden and Joan Barney; Donna and her husband Dale Hinrichsen; and Rick and his wife Tracy. Their lifelong connection was a reminder that family is not just an important thing, it is everything.

Daina’s absence leaves a deep ache in the hearts of those who knew her, but her spirit lives on in the love she gave and the memories she created. Her legacy is one of unwavering devotion to her family, an open heart to her friends, and a steadfast spirit that will continue to inspire.
