Danny Lewis Wells, 80, of Brooksville, Fl, passed on Monday, February 3rd after a lengthy illness.
He was born in 1944 to Ernest and Mary Wells in Gastonia, NC. Other than his family, his other loves were the sun, warm weather, and the water. So, in 1980, he made his move with his wife and two daughters to Florida and made it his forever home state.
After a short stent in the military, he spent the remaining of his working career as a Glazier.
Danny is survived by his loving wife of over 50 years, Patricia; three daughters, Lorie Kirkman (Scott – Spouse) of Stem, NC, Wendy Collera of the home, and Danelle Wright (Ed – Spouse) of Wesley Chapel, Fl; seven grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; and one sister.
Visitation is Friday, February 7th from 1pm – 2pm at Downing Funeral Home on Highpoint Blvd in Brooksville, Fl. The memorial service will be held from 2pm – 3pm.
