Mr. David Travland, 80, of Spring Hill passed away on November 29, 2020. He was born on September 21, 1940, to the late Arnold and Crystal Travland in Coronach, Saskatchewan, Canada.
He was a psychologist, and owned a private practice for 35 years. Mr. Travland was an associate professor at Wake Forest University, also associate professor at Columbia College and was proud to have served his PhD internship at Yale. David enjoyed serving his community. He served as president of the Mint Hill Athletic Association, and volunteered at the library, teaching a class he called "A Romp Through Classical Music." He also enjoyed motorcycles, serving as the president of the Iron Horse Motorcycle Club.
He was a published author of the Tough and Tender Caregiver.
David is survived by his loving wife Leslie, son Eric, daughter Amy, and grandson Chase also three stepsons David, Steven and preceded in death by John.
