Dennis J Urbanc Jr.

Dennis “DJ” Urbanc Jr, 60, of Hudson FL (formerly Powers, MI) passed away unexpectedly on Sunday August 31st, 2025.

He was born August 18, 1965 in Escanaba MI, the beloved son of the late Dennis and Elizabeth “Betty” (Murray) Urbanc.

Dennis graduated from Bark River Harris High School in 1984 and then joined the US Marine Corps.  He married the love of his life Suzette (Wilson) Urbanc.  They enjoyed 33 years of marriage while raising two wonderful children.  Dennis worked in sales and owned and operated a real estate agency along with his wife.  After many years Dennis and Suzette relocated to Florida where he continued working in real estate.

A man of many passions Dennis found joy in golfing, fishing, hunting, and ATV riding.  He was a gifted drummer with a deep love of music and played in multiple local bands when he was younger.  Dennis always lit up the room and was the life of the party.  He lived life to the fullest.

Above all his greatest love was his family and friends.  He leaves behind his loving wife and soulmate Suzette,  son Codey (Tarin ) Urbanc, Escanaba MI, and daughter  Tosha (Zachary) Wilkerson, Powers, MI.  Grandchilden Bryce and Samara Urbanc,  Sophia Kleiman, and Lukas Wilkerson.  Brothers Todd (Mary) Urbanc, Bark River MI, Mark (Lisa) Urbanc, Vulcan MI, Dr. Michael (Belle) Urbanc, Elyria OH, Robert (Michelle) Urbanc, Wilson MI, and Joseph Urbanc, Escanaba MI.  Brother-in-law Gerry (Stacy) Wilson II, Bark River MI.  In-laws Gerry (Kathy) Wilson, Hernando Beach FL.  Aunt Shirley (Ivan) Gagne, Gladstone MI and many beloved nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life will take place at a later time.
