Diana Condron Obituary

Diana L Condron (Marsh) 69 years old

It is with great sadness that the family of Diana L Condron announce her sudden tragic passing on August 16, 2024, in Hernando County, Florida.

Diana was born February 26, 1955, in Fort Riley Kansas to Roger and Doris Marsh. She was raised in Vernon, New Jersey and a 1973 Graduate of Franklin High School. Diana Married Lester J. Condron on August 5, 1978. They had one child in September of 1979 whom they raised together in Vernon until retiring to Brooksville, Florida together.

Diana Condron will sadly be missed by her daughter Megan Gorlich and her son-in-law Glenn Gorlich and her three wonderful grandchildren Derek, Tyler and Penelope Gorlich. Her beloved boyfriend of the last 9 years Chris Nichols. Her baby brother Gary Marsh and his girlfriend Debbi and her nephew Ryan Golden-Marsh along with his wife Nikki and their son Bentley.

Diana is predeceased by her husband Lester Condron and her parents Roger and Doris Marsh.

Diana also attended Churchman’s Business School and received a bachelor's degree in business and administration. She used that degree to work with her father for 30 years at the family owned and operated Jolly Pizza, Franklin, NJ.

Diana was raised in the Highland Lakes section of Vernon, NJ until her parents built a house in the valley of Vernon, NJ. Upon marriage Diana moved back to Highland Lakes to raise her family until Les retired from the Vernon School District and they moved to Florida. Of course, Diana was too young to retire so she continued to work at Oak Hill Hospital in Brooksville for another 22 years. She finally fully retired in February 2024.

Diana loved everything tropical, palm trees, sandy beaches and the warmer the weather the better. She also enjoyed going shopping and out to eat with friends. Most of all Diana loved being a grandmother! Derek, Tyler and Ellie were the light of her life. She loved to visit and travel with her daughter, son in law and grandkids and frequently joined them on family vacations and many, many baseball tournaments.

Diana leaves behind many friends that adored her. It was really hard for someone not to like Diana. She had such a loving personality; she would do anything for anyone at any time. She will be surely missed by so many.

Diana was cremated as per her wishes by Downing Funeral Home. There will be a celebration of life in New Jersey at a later date.
