Celebrating the Life of Emery Peter Lillo
October 1957 – June 16, 2026
Emery Peter Lillo, age 68, of Hudson, Florida, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 16, 2026.
Emery grew up in Wayne, New Jersey, where he graduated from Wayne Valley High School. In 1991, he and his family relocated to Florida, making it their home.
Emery was a man of many passions. In his youth, he loved to ski and play baseball. Throughout his life, he enjoyed playing cards and dice games, and he was famously known for keeping his friends on their toes with his playful pranks. New York Giants Fan. Above all, Emery loved boating, fishing and spending cherished quality time with his family, grandkids, and his two beloved fur babies, Gracie and Oreo.
A natural conversationalist, Emery excelled in sales later in life because he truly loved to talk to people. Prior to that, he dedicated over 10 years of service to the Salvation Army, where his compassionate heart shone brightly as he helped local families and worked on the frontlines of disaster relief. He had been retired due to disability since 2012. Emery was also a proud member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles #4208 since 2019.

Sisters: Mary Kay Smith, Lori Gurrieri, and Kathy Stetcko
Survived by:
Spouse: Nancy Lillo
Children: Sons, Adam Lillo, Brett Lillo (Chloe), and Daughter, Krystal Hanna (Bill)
Grandchildren: Oliver, Magnolia, Bill, Alyssa, and Nathan
Siblings: Brother, James Lillo and son; Brother, William Heck (Sue) and family; and Sister, Carolyn Wisz and family.
Sisters-in-law: Linda Detty and family; Karen Lotz and son; and Debra Wilhite and son.
Extended Family: Many loving nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews across New Jersey and Florida.
Family and friends are invited to gather to honor Emery's life on Saturday, June 27, 2026.
