Eric Ruge Obituary

Mr. Eric Ruge, 72, of Spring Hill passed away on January 6, 2021. He was born August 28, 1948 to the late John and Dorothy Ruge in St. Albans, New York. He moved to Spring Hill from Piermont, New York in the early 1980's. Eric proudly served in the US Navy during the Vietnam War. He will be remembered for his selfless, caring nature, and his willingness to help everyone in need. He was always there for anyone. He was the one friends called at 3AM when something was wrong. Eric loved so many people, but was loved by many more. He is survived by his wife, Susan, his son Eric, II, daughter Alyssa; a grandchild; his “brothers from another mother” Larry Sorriento, Kenny Osberg, Brian Brophy, and Mark Turnbull, as well as countless friends. The family is planning a Celebration of his life on his birthday, August 28, 2021. Details will follow.
