On March 31, 2025, our beloved First Lady Erna Harrigan successfully completed the race that was set before her and transitioned to her eternal home in heaven with her Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. Although we are with heavy hearts, we rejoice knowing that she is dancing and praising our Lord with all the saints that have gone before us, on the streets of gold, and we have the hope that we will one day see her again.
Erna was born in Honduras and came to the United States around the age of 16. At the age of 18, she met the love of her life Earl Harrigan. They were married and had 2 beautiful daughters. After Earl retired from the Army, they went into full time ministry together.
In 1998, Earl and Erna were called to Spring Hill, Florida to become Founding Pastors of New Beginnings Life Center, continuing through present day.
Erna’s passion was loving people and bringing them to Christ.
Surviving is her husband of over 57 years, Earl; daughters: Nicole (Gabe) Knowlton of Maryland; Monique (Jose) Santos of Virginia; five grandchildren: Briel (John) Barrett of Maryland, Cole (Bethany) of Kansas, Zian (Dylan) Santos of Virginia, Rachel Santos and Joseph Santos both of Virginia; and 7 great-grandchildren.
Erna loved yellow roses. The family requests any flower deliveries be scheduled for 8:30-9:00 AM on Saturday, April 26, 2025.
