Born in Hattiesburg, Mississippi on October 27, 1946.
US Navy Vet, serving aboard USS Kitty Hawk from 1963 - 1967.
Earned BS Degree Engineering from University of Southern Mississippi in 1980
Preceded in death by his parents, Alton and Ernestine Fairley, and sisters Connie Fairley, Judith Irene Saucer, and Ruth Ann Lott.
Survived by his wife Joni, of Spring Hill;
daughter Nicole Leftwich and her husband Mark of Knoxville, Tennessee;
son Ernest Alton Fairley, Jr of Crestview, Florida; sister Judith Ilene Rominger of Sucier, Mississippi;
and mother-in-law Z.T. Gilbreath of Spring Hill.
