George Wayne Spachman, 77, of Brooksville, Florida, passed away Wednesday, June 1, 2022 at the HPH Hospice Care Center.

Born April 30, 1945 in Las Vegas, Nevada, he was the son of the late George Rudolph and Myrtle Spachman. He grew up in Chicago, Illinois and moved to the Brooksville, Florida area in 2000. He worked as a security guard at the John G. Shedd Aquarium in Chicago for 25 years.

He was well known for his love, caring and joking personality. He was a faithful Christian. He enjoyed watching sports, taking care of his ferrets and working in his "man cave" shed. He was his happiest spending time with his family. He touched many lives and will surely be missed.

George is preceded in death by his parents (George & Myrtle), His sister (Melaine Tapper), and step-son (Willie McClelland). He is survived by his loving wife of 19 years, Christine Mary Spachman, Step-daughter & Son-in-law (Heidi & Walt Carson) of Homosassa; Brother & Sister-in-law (Jeff & Sue Spachman) of Chicago, Illinois; Five grandchildren, Chris, Haley, Ryan, Willie Jr, Marcus. Four Great grandchildren, Lucy, Paisley, Cole, Khole.
