In Loving Memory
It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Gerald Michael "Les" Lesmeister, who peacefully passed on May 21, 2025. Born on September 18, 1942, in New Rockford, North Dakota Les traveled the world, first in service to his country as a serviceman of the United States Navy for 20 years and then a an engineer with Sperry/Unisys/Lockheed Martin.
Les is survived by his wife Carol, daughter, and son-in-law Lynn and Jim, daughter LeAnne, granddaughters, Jennifer and Stephanie and grandson-in-law Josh and great-granddaughters Josie and Flora.
He will forever be remembered for his beautiful blue eyes, infamous glare, infectious smile, giving heart, love of country music and two-stepping, and of course, all things golf.
Services will be held at Florida National Cemetery in Sumter County, Florida. Friday May 30, 2025 at 2:00pm. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to Tunnels to Towers Foundation or you favorite charity, reflecting Les' spirit of giving.
