Geraldine Adell Ranson lived a life that was a beautiful reflection of her deep Christian faith. A woman of remarkable grace and love, she was the steady heart of her family and a true testament to a life well-lived.
Geraldine’s story began on January 14, 1933, in the town of Marlborough, New York. Growing up as the second youngest in a bustling household of ten brothers and sisters, she learned early on the importance of family, a value she carried with her throughout her entire life.
She and her husband of 68 years, James (USAF, Ret.), shared a lifetime of devotion that took them across the globe—from the United States to Southeast Asia—over a 25-year military career. A cornerstone of her life was the faith and kindness she passed on to her children, James Jr. and Sharon, and to her grandchildren, Adam and Eric. Her legacy lives on through them and the example of commitment she and James set for nearly seven decades.
On March 21, 2026, Geraldine completed her earthly journey, embraced by the same unwavering faith that guided her throughout her life. As she transitions from this world, her spirit is welcomed into the eternal love of God, where she finds peace and joy beyond measure. This story is a celebration of her journey, her faith, and the everlasting love that surrounds her now and forevermore.
In the quiet moments of reflection, we remember her gentle prayers, her steadfast hope, and the countless ways she showed love to her family and to her community. Geraldine's life was a living sermon of faith in action, inspiring all who knew her.
