Harriet “Kay”(Morgan) Pelley, 87 years, passed away peacefully on October 4, 2025, at home surrounded by family in Brooksville, Florida. She was born in East Liverpool, Ohio, the youngest of two children to Harry and Dorothy (Wehner) Morgan. She is survived by her husband, Donald Pelley Sr., of Brooksville, Florida, daughter, Kristy (Pelley) Bennett, of Thornton, Colorado, granddaughter, Rachel Bennett of Lafayette, Colorado, grandson, Donald Pelley III of Brooksville, Florida, and her older brother, Robert Morgan, Sr., and his extended family. She was preceded in death by her son, Donald Pelley, Jr.
Harriet was a graduate of East Liverpool High School in 1955, and was a member of the National Honor Society. She was a member of the First Church of Christ in East Liverpool where she married her high school sweetheart in 1956. Harriet pursued a career in banking for 35 years, initially at Potter’s Bank and Trust in East Liverpool, Ohio. Harriet continued working in the banking industry after moving to Florida until her retirement. Harriet lived in Colorado for a number of years before returning to Florida. She enjoyed reading, swimming, walking, hiking and snowshoeing in Colorado, and baking for her family.
