Isabella M Anzalone

On Sunday, June 19, 2022, Isabella Anzalone, loving mother of four children and grandmother to four grandchildren, passed away at the age of 57.

Isabella, “Lisa”, was born on December 26, 1964 in Queens, New York to Francesco and Rosina Graziano who had immigrated from Italy. She grew up surrounded by family. She went to Jackson Memorial High School in Jackson Township, New Jersey where she participated in Color Guard. Later, she went to Cosmetology school in Yonkers, New York, but ultimately decided that being a hair stylist wasn’t for her. 

She married Mario Anzalone at the age of 21. They traveled to the West Indies and were able to settle in Montserrat for two years. They traveled to Puerto Rico, Guadalupe, and Antigua. Later, they moved to England for two years and were able to explore London and travel to Italy. They came back to the states and moved to Florida when Isabella was pregnant with their first son, Rosario. In the following years, they expanded their family by having Francesco, Maria, and Rosina.

Isabella was absolutely dedicated to her family and friends. She loved with such an intensity that you always felt her kindness, her strength, and you always felt safe with her. She made sure that everyone felt welcome and valued. Isabella had a love for life and a joyous, infectious laugh that you couldn’t help but to join in, especially when it came to her grandchildren. She was an outstanding cook who never hesitated to share a recipe. She was passionate about crafting and was truly creative. She always had an idea or a way of thinking outside the box that ultimately led to amazing projects. If she knew someone needed her help, she was always willing to drop everything to come to the rescue. Even if it meant putting herself last. She is loved beyond measure and she will be missed by all who knew her.

In her passing, she was still able to help people. She was able to help three families by giving the gift of being an organ donor.

Visitation will be from 1:00-3:00 p.m. and 5:00-8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 22, 2022 at Downing Funeral Home at 1214 Wendy Ct, Spring Hill, FL 34607. Funeral Mass will be the following day on Thursday, June 23, 2022 beginning 11:00 a.m. at Saint Theresa Catholic Church at 1107 Commercial Way, Spring Hill, FL 34606.
