Jacquelyn Ann Proulx (Jacky)
Hudson, FLA.— Jacquelyn A. Proulx, 72, of Olivaud Street died Sunday 5/1/22 at home. She was born in Springfield, Massachusetts on September 7, 1949. Jacky was predeceased by her parents, Donald and Jacqueline Duplissa.
Jacky attended Minnechaug Regional High School in Wilbraham, Massachusetts.
Jacky has been a long time bartender and server for many years. Fishtales, a local restaurant in Hatfield, Massachusetts is where she met her husband Jim.
Her passions included cooking, boating, fishing, cruises to the Caribbean, shopping. She loved getting her hair and nails done. One of her favorite places to dine was Inn on the Gulf with her husband and friends. She looked forward to vacation in Rhode Island at Misquamicut beach each summer and dining at the Andrea. Jacky was happiest when spending time with her family and friends. Her biggest love was the love of her dogs, Daisy, Patsy, Benny and a new add on, Lyla.
Jacky also enjoyed helping Tom Thompson at the Community Center of Great Cypress Garden with cooking and serving holiday banquets.
Among her survivors, Jacky leaves her husband James P. Proulx of Hudson, FL; a daughter, Catherine Rogowski and her husband Richard; four grandchildren; Jordan Bissell and her husband Luke, Jake Rowe, Dylan Brouchu and Camryn Rogowski; great grandchildren; Hudson and sister Fynlee; a brother, David Duplissa and his wife Cheryl; a daughter in law; Michelle Bushwood and her husband David; two nieces; Danielle Duplissa and Lindsey Crawford.
The Celebration of life will be this September on the beaches of Misquamicut in Rhode Island with family and friends
