Jeffrey Michael Cadorette, 55, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Friday, May 13, 2022 at the Lecanto Hospice Center after a four year courageous battle with cancer. Jeffrey was born December 11, 1966 in Weymouth, Massachusetts. He grew up in Plymouth-Carver, Massachusetts before moving to Florida.
Jeffrey was a lobster man with his father out of Plymouth Harbor for many years. He also worked on the restoration of the Nantucket Light ship in Wareham, Massachusetts before moving to New Smyrna Beach, Florida in 2003 where he worked as a truck driver. He moved to Spring Hill, Florida in 2006 and worked for Paff Landscaping as a truck driver making many friends he shall miss.
Jeffrey’s hobbies were fishing, boating, golfing, skating, and playing hockey as a goalie. He loved playing bass especially in a band with his brother in Massachusetts. He loved to just jam on his bass. Jeffrey’s favorite team was the Boston Bruins and loved cheering them on.
Jeffrey leaves behind his loving wife of 26 years, Christine (Alsheimer) Cadorette. He was the proud parent of Meghan and Jacob Cadorette all of Spring Hill, FL. He was the loving son of Dennis Cadorette, Sr. and the late Diane (Bedard) Cadorette of New Symrna Beach, Florida. He was the loving brother of Dennis Cadorette, Jr. and Maureen Miller of Abington, Massachusetts, Richard Cadorette and his wife Debra Cadorette of Kingston; his in laws Cheryl (Waterman) and Richard Tosches of Brooksville, FL; his sister-in-law, Vikki Alsheimer Holbrook and husband Kirk Holbrook of Stuart, FL. He leaves behind his nieces and nephews, Alissa Lund and Andrew Cadorette, Jared, Adam and Samantha Arnold, Chelsea White and Brandon Cadorette; great nieces and nephews Jackson, Kaia, Mila Lund, Caitlin and Lillian White and Emma Cadorette. He leaves behind many wonderful family and friends and he will be dearly missed.
A Memorial Service will be held at Downing Funeral Home, 1214 Wendy Court, Spring Hill, FL on Tuesday, May 17, 2022 at 10:00 AM.
