Joseph “Joe” Richard Palaima, 67, of Spring Hill, Florida, formerly of Massachusetts, passed away peacefully on August 21, 2025.

Joe was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and friend whose warmth and hardworking spirit touched the lives of many. Joe could often be found with a paintbrush in his hand, taking pride in his work, or at the baseball field cheering on his grandsons — one of his greatest joys in life.

He is survived by his loving wife, Brenda L. Palaima; daughter, Marissa Tomassi; sons, Jay R. Palaima and Edward J. Schoonmaker; and several cherished grandchildren including, Edjuan, Giada, Xander, Easton, Bradley, Giayanna, and Mason. Joe was predeceased by his beloved daughter, Amber N. Palaima.

A Celebration of Life will be held in his honor on Saturday, October 11, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at First Baptist Church of Weeki Wachee Acres, located at 8092 Toucan Trail, Spring Hill, FL 34606.

Joe will be remembered for his love of family, his dedication to his craft, and his unwavering support of those he cared for. His legacy will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
