Karen H. Robinson

March 18, 1947 – February 15, 2026

Karen (Mom) passed peacefully on Sunday, February 15, 2026, at the home built with love by her husband, Bruce, and family.  A born and raised Floridian, Karen loved being outside taking care of the garden or spending time with Bruce, her kids and grandkids.  She was a very talented and creative individual, who tackled any task/challenge that she faced.  Karen worked alongside Bruce in the family Hallmark stores, embracing the creative tasks of designing the store with new products and aesthetics to bring in business.  After selling the store, she took on the career of Mom to three kids who could not have asked for a more loving, caring, nurturing, person to guide them in life. Before moving into retirement life, Karen went back into banking and was a branch manager.  Her retirement life was full of maintaining the garden (a full-time passion), supporting her children in their lives and taking care of Bruce, as they did everything together.  She was always a phone call away to her family and the first to show up if anything was needed.  Karen will be missed dearly by family and those who knew her kind, loving and generous personality.  Karen is survived her son Bryan (Laura) and two children (Sarah and Jacob) and daughter Kate (Tim) and daughter (Emily).    Service honoring Bruce and Karen Robinson will be held on March 1, 2026, 2 pm, Downing Funeral Home (1214 Wendy Court, Spring Hill, FL).
