Kathleen M Krause 

Loving wife of Richard Krause and beloved mother of Jennifer (Brian) Wolanske of Rochester NY. She is preceded in death by her parents Frank and Helen Merkle and is survived by her sister Patricia Linville as well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Kathleen Attended St Mary’s school for the deaf and RIT college. Her first career was as a beautician and barber in Buffalo NY before becoming a resident care aide for United Cerebral Palsy of Niagara County. After retirement she moved to Brooksville FL with her husband. 

Kathleen became active in the High Point ladies auxiliary, mobile patrol, quilting club, and Hernando County quilters guild. 

She was a passionate, lifelong Buffalo Bills fan and enjoyed spoiling her grand cats.

She loved shopping with her daughter, having lunch with her girlfriends, cooking new recipes and family dinners at her favorite restaurants. She just couldn’t get by without her hot tea and lemon. 

Kathleen had a radiant smile and will be dearly missed by everyone who knew her. 

A private interment will be held at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell FL, and a celebration of life will be held in the Buffalo NY area next summer.
