It is with great sadness that the family of Larry Dale Lemmons announce his unexpected passing on Monday, December 27, 2021 at the age of 64.

Larry was born in Topeka, Kansas in 1957 to Lewis and Rose Lemmons. As the son of an Air Force member, he moved regularly – to Florida, overseas to Turkey, then back to the U.S. to Texas before the family finally settled in Colorado.

Larry graduated from the University of Colorado in Boulder in 1982. He was a manager in the State of Colorado’s Department of Labor and retired from there and moved to Florida in 2017, where he enjoyed driving his Tesla to a variety of in-state and out-of-state destinations. He loved his road trips and was constantly on the lookout for a new location to explore.

Larry will be missed by his brother Terry (Suzanne) Lemmons, his neighbors and numerous long-time friends and former colleagues in Colorado. He was predeceased by both his father and mother.

A memorial service will be held next year.
