Lee Phillips Obituary

Lee Philips, age 69, peacefully passed June 2, 2020 at Bayfront Hospital in St. Petersburg Florida. Lee, born September 18, 1950 as Emily Grace Zuckerman was the daughter of Emily Grace Carpenter Zuckerman and Frederick Zuckerman. Fiercely independent, at age 18 she left for San Francisco. She lived in Northeastern Pennsylvania, Largo, Florida and most recently Greenville, South Carolina where she worked as a Director of Human Resources for a national corporation before coming to St. Pete to spend her remaining years near her family.

Lee was a painter; oil was her medium. She was proud of her showing at the Clearwater Marine Science Center. She was a master seamstress with a deep love for small yappy dogs that she liked to outfit as humans. We will miss her perfect popovers, potato chip tuna casserole, perogies, perfect sour cream gravy and many perfected masterpieces. She was an avid reader and a huge fan of scary movies.  She was a sharp, articulate and strong woman.

She is survived by her daughter Nannette Worlinsky of St Petersburg, Florida, her son T. Christopher Moran of Pinellas Park, Florida, her granddaughters Courtney Mayor of Tampa, Florida, Brittany Worlinsky of Santa Monica, California, her grandson, Brendan Moran of Pinellas Park, FL, great grandson Crew Mayor and loving big sister Faith Savoy,  brothers Fred and Michael Zuckerman, as well as nieces and nephews. She is preceded by her parents, her sister Jane Lerche and brothers Frederick Zuckerman and Roger Zuckerman.

A remembrance gathering will be held at a future date.
