Matthew Bernard Earley, 24, of Spring Hill, passed away on May 17, 2020. He was born March 12, 1996 in Dearborn, Michigan to Mark and Linda Earley. He moved to Florida six years ago, and is a 2015 graduate of Weeki Wachee High School. Matthew’s personality was larger than life, and his spirit was captivating. He often joked that he had been born in the wrong generation, and would have probably felt right at home at Woodstock. Matthew considered himself a legend. He said he was a man of greatness with so much to give. When Matthew received his driver’s License he was excited to become a registered organ donor. That way, if something were to happen to him, others would become part of the legend! Matthew lives on, not just in our hearts, but in the lives of others who have received his gifts.
Matthew is survived by his parents, Mark and Linda; brother Mark; sister Mirahnda Kusch, and her husband Shawn; sister Marissa; Niece Jennifer; grandparents Donald Laws and his wife Barb; Uncle Tom Laws; Aunt Becky and Uncle Scott Cook; Godfather Bernard and Aunt Mary Laws; Godmother Angie and Uncle Bill McKenna; Uncle Craig and Aunt Danielle Earley; Uncle Keith and Aunt Angie Earley; Aunt April Earley; and many cousins and extended family.
A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday May 23 at 10:00 AM at St Theresa Catholic Church. The family will receive friends on Friday, May 22 from 2:00 to 4:00 pm, and 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Downing Funeral Home.
