Patricia A Lanier

 We regretfully announce the passing of Patricia Ann Lanier, 80, of sunny Weeki Wachee, FL on June 5, 2022, surrounded by her family.

     Patricia, born on January 20, 1942 in Tampa, FL. After growing up in Groveland, she went on to marry & have 2 daughters Jetta & Mary Jane. She later went on to remarry the love of her life James Lanier who had 2 children Vickie & James Jr. together as a blended family they raised 4 loving children, ran a business, and shared 52 years together.

     Besides her love for her family, she also enjoyed riding horses, raising birds, gardening, boating, and enjoying all of the beautiful sunsets from their backyard. 

     The hole left by her absence is impossible to fill. However, we take comfort in knowing that she will be in good company with other predeceased family members, her parents Cecil & Ella Mae Cureton, sister Roxy Nickelsen, brother Charles Edward, and beloved daughter Mary Jane Lanier.

     She leaves behind her husband James Lanier, children Jetta & Alan Heinrich, Vickie Lanier (Jay Mouser), and James Jr. & Denise Lanier. Her sisters Erma Jean (husband Larry) Moore, Bobbi Holmes, & Tricia Lanier. Along with 6 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

     Family and friends are invited to say a final goodbye to Patty @ Downing Funeral Home 1214 Wendy Ct. Spring Hill, FL 34607 on Thursday June 16th from 1pm - 2pm.
