 Patricia Smith Proia passed away on December 25,2025 in Spring Hill, FL after a short illness.

Patricia was born in Boston, Massachusetts to the late James and Betty MacDonald.

She is predeceased by her husband Ronald Proia.

Patricia is survived by her daughters Suzette Malika MacDonald and Gaybrielle Smith, as well as son Justin Smith and his wife Shanna.  Patricia also leaves nine grandchildren,  fourteen great-grandchildren and her beloved dog Sir Reginald Rigatoni. 

Patricia grew up in South Boston before moving to Cape Cod where she spent many years before settling in Spring Hill with her husband.  She enjoyed cooking, entertaining, thrifting, antiques, and was a proud member of “team GG”.

She will be missed by family and friends.

Per her request there will be no services, and she will be laid to rest with her husband.
