For your strong believe in GOD, and always having internal faith.

For all your kindness and love that you have shared to your family, through all these years.

For all the caring, loving, and meaningful friendships, you had in your lifetime

For all your kindness and love you shared to strangers or to someone you just met.

For being such a great hugger and always making others feel so loved and welcomed.

For not being afraid to tell others how you have lived a fulfilled life, and how proud you were of your family.

For never giving up on your strong belief in GOD, family, and friends.

For introducing us to the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.

For always being there for us whenever we needed you.

For making us into the people we are today just because you wanted to love us.

For always wanting to give us direction and purpose.

For always wanting to keep us safe and protected.

For always teaching us from right and wrong, and allowing us to know there are always consequences with every decision we make (good or bad).

For teaching us the true meaning of life which is to always show love, kindness, and grace to others.

For allowing us to fall, so that we can pick ourselves back up to be stronger people.

For the excepting of all our friends, whoever we brought home, and opening your house to them with a smile and of course feeding them.

For just wanting to always be a loving mother.

For at the end of the day when Maria walked through the door, how excited you were and how special you made her feel.

My Nonna

Growing up my Nonna was one the best grandmas Kaelin and I could have asked for. She loved and cared for us like her own. She would always say to me “I got a second chance at being a mom when you and your sister were born.”

While we have 30 plus years of great memories two will always stick out to me. One being cooking together. seeing my Nonna’s passion to cook was so fun to watch. Cooking together was our bonding time. While we would have many laughs, we also learned so much that she has passed down and I will cherish that forever. Second memory is getting to meet her great granddaughter Cora Jo. She loved that little girl more than anything in this world. She brought her so much joy and happiness just as my Nonna gave me.

While I will miss her so much I know she is reunited with her husband dancing the days away listening to Elvis. I know she will always be looking down at us and protecting our family. I will always feel her love.
