Paul A Burghardt

Paul Allen Burghardt, age 81, passed away peacefully April 14, 2026.

Paul was the owner of Burghardt Optical for over 35 years and proudly served his community as a member of the Luna Pier Fire Department and Luna Pier City Council. He enjoyed spending his free time hunting, fishing, and golfing.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 60 years, Sharon Burghardt; his children, Paula Pyle (Jerry) and Michelle Richards (Ben); his grandchildren, Lindsey Targus (Jon), Evelyn Osbourne (William), Ashley Hughes (Jacob), and Layna Richards; and two great-grandsons.

Paul will be deeply missed by his family and friends. May he rest in peace.
