Raymond Byrne Obituary

August 27th, 1958, in Emerson New Jersey, Frank & Allene Byrne gave birth to their first born, Raymond Francis Byrne.

In 1988, he then moved to Canadensis/Cresco Pennsylvania to raise his family for 25 years. While raising three kids, he was employed at Pocono Mountain School District  and then United Envelope. Ray & his wife loved to see the world, but Brooksville  Florida is the place they called home for the past few years, while Ray worked at the Packaging Corporation of America in Tampa.

His love for his family was beyond measure & was seen in everything he did. Ray loved to work on vehicles with his son Donald, visit his daughter Dawn wherever she was stationed for the Air Force, and even gave his youngest son Craig a kidney. He also enjoyed hunting, traveling, lending a hand, or even just lounging around with his grand dogs. His favorite past time was riding his motorcycle “around the block”…which meant, see you in a few hours. He even led many charity rides with his wife Linda through the Poconos Mountains of Pennsylvania.

August 29th, 2021, two days after his 63rd birthday, Ray suddenly passed away surrounded by his family & his longtime friend/brother, Bob Enquist. He was preceded in death by his parents Frank & Allene Byrne. He is survived by his wife of 40 years Linda, three children, Donald Byrne, Dawn Langham & her husband Max, Craig Byrne & his wife Kimberly, grandchildren Sara Byrne, Kai, Dio & future baby Langham, as well as a younger brother and sister.

Ray always said, “Never ride faster than your angel can fly”.
