Richard Mills Obituary
The Funeral Service for Mr. Richard Powell Mills, 82, will be held at Downing Funeral Home at 11:30 on Monday, July 20, 2020. The Family will receive friends from 10:00 AM until the time of the service. Mr. Mills passed away on July 15, 2020 in Palmetto, Florida. He was born to Richard Elliot Mills and Gladys Irene Mills on May 2, 1938 in Chicago, Illinois. He moved with his family to Clearwater, and graduated from Clearwater High School in 1956.
He is survived by his wife, Janet Lynn Mills, son Richard E. Mills and his wife Tracy; daughter Kimberly Rampino and her husband Mike; sister Nancie Haskett; grandchildren Summer Schallenberg and her husband Jon, Sterling Mills, Meagan Rampino, and Michael Rampino and his wife Lauren.
He was active in residential and commercial building and construction in the Spring Hill area, and was an active member of the Springs of Life Church.
