Mr. Robert C. Lee, age 83, passed away on April 29, 2020. He was born on to Clarence and Edna Lee on March 2, 1937. A native of Chicago, he moved to the area in 1976. He was a Catholic. He was an avid student of history, especially the Civil War Era, and loved to read. He loved Star Trek, especially the character Lt. Worf. In fact, Worf was a nickname bestowed upon him by his "brother from another mother", and best friend, Tom. He was a lifelong Cubs fan, and was thrilled to live long enough to see them win the World Series in 2016. He loved spending time with his grandchildren. He would spend hours teaching his grandson Nathan about history and the World Wars. He was always there for his family, dropping everything at a moment's notice to go be with them. He will be remembered for his generosity, his witty humor, and his political views.
Robert is preceded in death by his parents, Clarence and Edna, and by his son, Donny. He is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Donna; son Tom and his wife Ana; son Tim and his fiance Courtney; and grandchildren Nathan and Hannah.
