In loving memory of Robert Alvin Vanwinkle better known as our amazing Bob.
Bob was born November 3rd, 1963 on a military base in New York however shortly after birth relocated to Philadelphia Pa. Throughout his lifetime here with us, he did nothing short of have fun. Bob always had a wild soul. He never let ANYTHING limit him. Bob married his lifelong companion ( Susan ‘ Kueny’ Vanwinkle) at the age of 18 years old ( April 25th, 1981). They together had three children; Robert Scott Vanwinkle (1981- 2019) , Meghan Susan Vanwinkle (1984), Brian Pelle Vanwinkle (1986).
In Bobs early 20s, him and his family moved to Florida. Once in Florida, Bob truly lived out his life long dreams from drag racing, to fishing, hunting and his favorite relaxing camping. Although, we can all argue that his favorite thing of all was being a grandfather to his grandchildren. From a young age Bob always enjoyed mechanical work on vehicles. He applied all of his knowledge and became a master diesel mechanic working for multiple companies in which he operated on cement trucks. He continued his work until 2018 when he had suffered from health issues and became legally disabled.
Bob was a fighter. He was so strong and fought until the very end. The Lord called him home and we told him to be free no more suffering.
Bob leaves behind his loving wife, two children, 9 grandchildren and the rest of his family in Philadelphia.
