Ronald Richard Renaud

Ronald R. Renaud 75, of Hernando Beach, Florida passed away on Thursday August 17, 2023. Survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Marlene Renaud, along with his children Tammy Gagnon (Raymond), Nicole Demas, Michael Renaud, and loving granddaughter Avalon; sisters Carol Renaud and Patricia Little (Gary); Jessica Pavao(niece); Eric Little(nephew). He is preceded in death by Roland F. Renaud (patriarch), Rita E. Renaud(matriarch), Robert Renaud(brother).

Born and raised in Fall River, Ronald graduated from Diamond Vocational High School in 1964. He proudly served his country by joining the army at the age of 18.  After 3 years in the Army, he pursued a career as a dedicated correctional officer before retiring in 1992.

Ronald was a man of many passions. He found joy in woodworking and loved the thrill of riding motorcycles. His affinity for water activities, such as fishing and boating, was evident in his love for being on the water. An avid traveler, Ronald cherished moments spent with his family, and lived for his Facetime dates with his beloved granddaughter Avalon.

Beyond his hobbies, Ronald was a crossword puzzle enthusiast, completing an impressive 30-40 puzzles daily for over four decades. This skill was passed down from his father, who was also a crossword puzzle master. Additionally, Ronald's beautiful singing voice resonated with his favorite oldies music style. He had an insatiable appetite for New England seafood, and always found reasons to savor it.

Ronald was an active member of his community, participating in softball games with fellow correctional officers and embarking on annual motorcycle trips to Laconia, NH with his friends. His commitment to charitable causes was evident in his involvement in various motorcycle bike rallies. He was a proud member of the Lakeville Eagles.

Ronald Richard Renaud, will forever be remembered for his dedication, zest for life, and unwavering love for his family. His legacy will continue to live on in the hearts of those he touched and through each of his beloved girls.
