Ruth M Huestis

Mrs. Ruth M. Huestis, 79 of Spring Hll, FL and formerly of Clinton, IA passed away October 8, 2024 at the Canterbury Assisted Living in Spring Hill, FL.  She was born in Toronto, Canada.  She and her husband Alfred Huestis were affiliated with the Valley Oaks Golf Club where her husband was the Golf Pro.  In 1970 they moved to the Clinton Country Club where they ran the golf program.  In 1975, they built their own course (Canyon Creek and operated it until 1984).  They then moved to Arizona.  Returning to Iowa the bought the Valley Oaks Golf Course retiring after ten years.  They later moved to Spring Hill, FL.
