Sally M Marra

Sally M Marra, 82 of Brooksville, Fla formerly of Watertown, NY, passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday May 28 surrounded by love ones. Sally was born on September 26, 1942, the daughter of Robert and Reta (Potter) McHugh. She graduated from Watertown High School in 1960. Sally married the love of her life Philip J Marra on July 16, 1960. Phil passed away on August 14, 2015. Sally fulfilled her dream of becoming a registered nurse by graduating with honors from Jefferson Community College in 1983. She began her career at the House of the Good Samaritan until moving to Hudson Fla where she continued working at Spring Hill Regional Hospital until her retirement. Her survivors include 3 children, Tina(Christina) Fluno and her companion Lanz Ellingsworth of Watertown, NY, Phil (P.J.) Marra, Brooksville Fla, Robert (Bobbi) Marra, Roanoke VA. Grandchildren Zac (Kailey) Fluno, Sam Fluno, Emilee (Zachary)Allen, Philip, Joshua, Jack Marra, Ramsey (Hannah), James, Ryleigh Marra. Great grandchildren Carmine Fluno, Shep Marra, and Carter, Reagan, Crew Allen, 2 nieces and their families and her spoiled dog Annie and many friends. She is predeceased by her parents Bob & Reta, her husband Phil, a sister Patti Fluno and 2 dogs baby & Molly. Sally loved to sew and was an avid quilter, belonging to the Hernando Quilters Guild, dancing, reading, gambling, and going on cruises with her special friends Jan DiStefano Watertown, NY & Helen Russo Hudson, FL.

A celebration of life will be held at the American Legion in Spring Hill Fl  Monday June 9 from 12 pm - 3 pm.
