Shari L. Farra

Shari Lynn Farra (née Kading), age 64, passed away peacefully on March 2, 2026, in Spring Hill, Florida after a valiant fight for her life. Born on November 8, 1961, in La Crosse, Wisconsin, Shari lived a life filled with love, kindness, and dedication to her family and community.
Shari grew up on the south side of La Crosse and cherished the lifelong friendships she maintained with many of her childhood neighbors. She attended Central HS until she moved with her parents to West Salem, Wisconsin, in 1978.  She graduated from West Salem HS in 1979. Following high school, Shari pursued her passion for beauty and attended La Crosse Beauty School. She became a talented beautician and played an instrumental role in opening and running Hair Headquarters Hair Salon in 1986.
Always seeking new challenges and opportunities, Shari transitioned into other fields. She worked at La Crosse Regional Airport to learn more about the travel industry. She graduated from Northwest Flight Attendant School in 1997, and embarked on a fulfilling career as a flight attendant with Northwest Airlines, which later became Delta Airlines. Her career allowed her to travel extensively while providing exceptional care to passengers and nurturing lifelong friendships around the world.
Shari married Patrick Farra and together they built a life filled with love and shared experiences in Apple Valley, Minnesota. After retiring from Delta Airlines, Shari and Pat relocated to Spring Hill, Florida, to be closer to her parents.
Shari was known for her loving nature and generosity toward others. She found joy in reading and cooking—two hobbies that brought comfort to those around her. Her warmth extended beyond her immediate circle; she touched the lives of everyone she met with kindness and compassion.
Shari is survived by her devoted husband, Patrick Farra, and his children Whitney and Shelby; her mother, Mary Louise Kading, FL; and her brothers Steven Kading (Cherri), OK, James Kading (Elizabeth), CT, and Danny Kading, WI; as well as many nieces, nephews and grandnieces and grandnephews that meant the world to her. She was predeceased by her father, Derald Kading in 2019.
Shari’s memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her. May her legacy of kindness continue to inspire all who were fortunate enough to share in her journey.

A Funeral Service will be held on March 22, 2026, at 09:30 AM at Forest Oaks Lutheran Church, 8555 Forest Oaks Blvd, Spring Hill Florida, 34606.
