Sonja C. Grizzell (Martin)

Sonja C. Elliston Grizzel (AKA Sonja Martin)

Sonja, age 79 of Cincinnati, OH and formerly of Verona, KY passed away on October 2, 2024. Sonja was a woman of strong faith in God and often said she was prepared to meet her Lord. She worked for Lit-Ning Products for many years as a Human Resource professional. Sonja was always a friend to those in her beloved Gallatin County, KY where she hired many before there were local industries. Later in life, she travelled to many Asian countries including Thailand that she loved. She finally settled in Florida where she cared for elderly patients in their homes. Sonja returned to Cincinnati after retiring. She was preceded in death by her mother, Lucille and step-father, Jim Elliston as well as her sister, Cecilia Ashcraft. Sonja is survived by many cousins including Carey (Susan) Johns of Ghent, Ky and Cathy Adams of Warsaw, Ky. There was no memorial service per her request.
