Ursula T. Berry, born on July 10, 1928, in Bronx, New York, passed away peacefully on July 3, 2024. She was 95 years old. Ursula was predeceased by her parents, James Dougherty and Mary Hollander Dougherty, her siblings, Claire Dougherty, John Dougherty, James Dougherty, Lulu Marie Healy, her beloved husband, Bernard J. Berry, and her cherished son, James J. Berry. Ursula leaves behind a legacy of love through her ten devoted children: Thomas Berry (Arlene), Mary Hoefler, Charles Berry, Kevin Berry (Peggy), Virginia Horsler (Randall), Jean Jahnes (William), Michael Berry, Joseph Berry (Yvette), Clair Agnello, and Bernard Berry (Cheryl). Her family continued to grow with 29 grandchildren and 37 great-grandchildren, all of whom were deeply loved by their grandmother. Ursula served as a home health aide on Long Island, New York for several years. Her devotion and care of others was evident in the dignity and kindness she showed for her patients. A devout Catholic, Ursula was a dedicated member of Saint Theresa's Catholic Church in Spring Hill, Florida. Her faith was a cornerstone of her life, and she was known for her selflessness and hard work as a mother. Ursula’s unwavering prayers and thoughtful cards were a testament to her constant love and support for her family. Ursula’s family will always remember her for her enduring faith, her generous spirit, and her tireless dedication to her loved ones. She will be deeply missed, but her legacy of love and devotion will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
