Walter Dmytro Podolak (89) of Fennville, MI departed for his heavenly home on June 21st, 2026 from Highpoint, FL. Born at Little Co. of Mary Hospital in Evergreen Park (Chicago, IL) to the late Walter and Stella Podolak, Walter was a veteran at rank of Sergeant in the United States Marine Corps. Walter was a devout Ukrainian Catholic of strong faith and practice.
He was a master carpenter and boat builder eventually retiring with the Chicago Regional Council of Carpenters. As a dedicated father, uncle, and brother, Walter enjoyed fishing, boating and watching the sunset with his family on his Lake Hutchison home.
In addition to his parents, Walter was preceded in death by his brother-in-law Leslie St Clair.
Walter is survived by his son David Podolak (Annie) and his grandchildren Dean, Elizabeth and Harrison Podolak. His sister, Audry St Clair and his nephews Ronny and Bobby St Clair will also carry on his memory.
